Humanoid-esque, but not humanoid What I see missing: No hand. A passive claw attachment is used to avoid grip strength test. Limited wrist DoFs Second no test of pull-up strength as it leaps into position. Most of the work is done by gravity through pendulum swings. Compact frameless motors can be integrated directly into dexterous robotic hands to drive finger and joint movement while keeping the mechanism extremely compact. Harmonic Drive and Nabtesco built their positions over decades of iteration on gear tooth profiles, lubrication, and thermal management at the micron level. Scaling humanoid production to millions of units per year requires scaling reducer production by orders of magnitude. That is not a capital problem. Figure 03 can now climb a ladder fully autonomously. No remote operator. No scripted sequence. The robot has to see the ladder, coordinate its hands and feet, continuously shift its weight, and maintain balance as it moves upward.
