| 10:45 AM ET | $NVDA | 10:45 AM ET @stretchcloud on X $12.9B is not a model acquisition. It is a distribution acquisition.NVIDIA just locked in the largest AI developer community on the planet: 18M developers, 3M models, 500K datasets, 1M apps. Jensen's team is not buying Hugging Face for what it does today. They are buying the channel through which every future model will move.Hardware companies do not buy software companies to improve their margins. They do it to eliminate the surface area where the next bottleneck forms. This is the same logic behind Intel buying McAfee and Qualcomm buying NXP. Except the AI compute market is growing faster… | |
| 5:37 AM ET | REResonac | — | 5:37 AM ETREResonac @BitsWattsDesk on X A materials company is drawing the crowd because the format question got settled first. Last month I wrote that Resonac (TSE: 4004) and Intel ($INTC) were building to the same glass panel format, 510x515 mm. Once the format is fixed, the competition moves down a layer, into what you coat the glass with and what you stick it to. The booth next door is Manz, which builds glass-core substrate equipment. The panel behind Resonac says de-bonding. That word is the part I am still working out. Most glass substrate coverage asks who can make the substrate. But a glass carrier has to be bonded to the… |
| 2:35 PM ET | NBNBIS | — | 2:35 PM ETNBNBIS @ParadisLabs on X Bought some stocks today...finally. 1. $NBIS - Already a top 10 position for me, but one of my highest conviction names. 2. $INTC - I don't own enough Intel. 3. $CRDO - Averaging my position down on this earnings drop (I personally think earnings were good). I started my Credo position on last quarter's earnings drop. 4. $BE - We all know the bottleneck by now... 5. $AMZN - Can never own enough Amazon. Nearly 10% down in a month is a treat (imo). I don't care about day-to-day fluctuations w/ Amazon since I'll be a shareholder for a *very* long time. If you've been reading my macro notes… |
| 11:12 AM ET | $TSLA | 11:12 AM ET @MilkRoadAI on X Elon Musk thinks humanoid robots could become a bigger industry than almost anyone expects (Save this). @elonmusk said the usefulness of a humanoid robot depends on three factors, the quality of its artificial intelligence software, the performance of its onboard chip and the dexterity of its mechanical systems, especially its hands. Because all three areas are improving rapidly, even small advances could multiply together and make robots significantly more capable over time. Musk also believes robots could eventually help manufacture more robots, creating a self reinforcing production cycle… |
